A device having a hermetically sealed motor close coupled to the pump body, after that the whole assembly is submerged inside the body. Their constructional and operational features after being subjected to great centrifugal forces caused by the high rotational speed of the impeller, lose their kinetic energy in the diffuser where a conversion of kinetic to pressure energy takes place. Then the optional thrust bearing takes up part of the axial forces arising in the pump but most of those forces are absorbed by the protector’s thrust bearing.
Applications
Found in many applications, they are used for drainage, sewage pumping, general industrial pumping and slurry pumping. Other uses include seawater handling, fire fighting, drilling rigs, artificial lifts, irrigation systems.
Different types of submersible pumps are available when applicable on certain liquids. Like for Example, we have pumps which are designed not to ignite the liquid or vapors, when they are used for combustible liquid.
Several Types of categories of pumps, we have available with us…
- Helical Rotor Pumps
- Centrifugal Pumps
- Piston or Diaphragm Pumps
- Propeller Pump
- Jet Pump
- Airlift Pump
These pumps generally driven either by an engine or electric motor have the following principles in them, atmospheric pressure, centrifugal force and movement of the fluids caused by the differences in gravity.
Pump Cables
Our pump cables specialized to be used for a submersible pump in a deep well or other unspecified conditions, they are very durable and reliable as their installation can be used in both fresh and salt water. They may be flat or round in cross section depending on their size and shape for their usage and preference and pumping instrument of the installer, they are mostly color coded for their identification and the overall cable jacket may also be color coded.
